We have another Ludivine appearance for the new year already! She was at the 2010 catalogue launch party for luxury travel agency Nosylis. I’ve only found the one picture above, but hopefully there will be more. Click for HQ!

This is a pleasant surprise! We have our first pictures of Ludivine in 2010. Photos took a couple days after the event itself to hit the internet, but Ludivine was at the Sidaction Fashion Dinner for AIDS alongside several other French actresses. She opted for a classic, quasi-retro look complete with red lipstick and is still sporting her strawberry blonde hair from the end of last year.

Also, “Crime d’amour” has an official release date: August 18th, 2010. It’s a long wait, but at least we know! No word on “Pieds nus sur les limaces” yet.

I’ve also added a new (technically old) high-quality photoshoot to the gallery! The photos were taken back in 2002 for her Prix Romy Schneider win. The shoot is adorable, check it out! I’m leaving the pictures public for now but remember to register if you want to view the photoshoots in the gallery, as eventually I’ll change it back to members-only.

The bad news: Ludivine has officially been taken off the cast list for “Potiche”, so it may still be a while before we see her work with François Ozon again. The good news: it looks like she’s confirmed for “The Devil’s Double”, which we first heard about back in November. If the film is sticking to the planned filming schedule of beginning in January, she should be in Malta right now! All I know so far is that her role is “Sarrab”.

Unfortunately, Ludivine news has ground to a near halt, despite 3 films in post-production — no new information or release dates are available. In the meantime, I’m going to try to get the site up-to-date with more older material! Today I have a scan from fashion magazine Self Service’s spring/summer 2007 edition, where Ludivine had a page of polaroids in a section on French Style alongside fellow Frenchies Clémence Poésy, Roxane Mesquida, Sara Forestier, Mélanie Laurent, and Laura Smet (whom our thoughts are with.) She looks really lovely and natural in the polaroids — click the picture above to see the full-size! Huge thanks to Geraldine for scanning this for me.

I’ve added screencaptures from an older film to the gallery, 2006’s “Molière.” Ludivine played the witty socialite Célimène. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more films!

According to ioncinema.com, Ludivine may have been replaced in François Ozon’s “Potiche” by Karin Viard. If it’s true, that is a definitely a disappointment, but other places on the web list Ludivine in the cast alongside Karin. Shooting doesn’t wrap until the end of January, however, and the film is scheduled for a November 10, 2010 release, so it may be a little while before it’s confirmed either way.

Miss Sagnier was seen out and about at a launch party for Sonia Rykiel and H&M’s underwear collection, also sporting a new hair color! The pale blonde she’s had for the past year or two has been replaced with a light red or strawberry blonde, softer than the red she had for Un Secret. I’ve added some photos to the gallery and will continue to do so as I find more. What do you think about the change, yay or nay?
