Ludivine finally has a new magazine feature! She’s in the latest issue of French fashion magazine Numéro, where she talks about her year out of the spotlight and her return to cinema. You can read a little bit about the article below, but I hope to have scans of Numéro itself soon!

Après Mesrine, Ludivine Sagnier s’est fait plus discrète au cinéma. Maman de deux enfants, elle évoque dans le magazine Numéro sa décision de prendre un peu de recul sur son métier : “Je n’étais pas contente de ce que je recevais [comme scénarii], alors j’ai pris une année sabbatique après le diptyque de Mesrine de Jean-François Richet. Cela m’a fait du bien, depuis que je suis à nouveau maman, j’ai tourné deux films à la suite et je m’apprête à en tourner un troisième au mois de mars.”

Ludivine is in talks to join an English language movie! The film is The Devil’s Double and stars English actor Dominic Cooper in the lead role as Latif Yahia, former body double of Uday Hussein. You can find more information about the production below. Hopefully talks lead to a confirmed casting!

Cooper will play Latif Yahia, “a dead ringer for Saddam Hussein’s sadistic and widely despised son Uday who was forced against his will to stand in for Uday in potentially dangerous situations.”  Through his access, Yahia gained access to Hussein’s inner sanctum and witnessed terrible corruption, violence and nuttiness.

Ludivine Sagnier is also in talks to star in the project which begins shooting in January in scenic Malta.
