Hello, all! Ludivine’s long-awaited “Pieds nus sur les limaces” is set to be released on December 1st. The film was very well-received during the Cannes Film Festival, so hopefully it does well with the general public! I have a round-up of material for the film, including the poster and screencaptures from the trailer and two clips. I’ve embedded the trailer below, and you can view the two extracts here and here. Good quality official production stills for “Pieds nus sur les limaces” have finally surfaced! There are only 3 for now but I hope more will be released around the time of the Cannes screening.

Well, sort of. Ludivine’s upcoming film “Pieds nus sur les limaces” AKA “Lily Sometimes”, co-starring Diane Kruger, has been selected to close the Director’s Fortnight, a parallel independent section at the Cannes Film Festival. The premiere will be a red carpet event, so fingers crossed that Ludivine will be able to attend and that we’ll also see her out and about on the Croisette before then!

The bad news: Ludivine has officially been taken off the cast list for “Potiche”, so it may still be a while before we see her work with François Ozon again. The good news: it looks like she’s confirmed for “The Devil’s Double”, which we first heard about back in November. If the film is sticking to the planned filming schedule of beginning in January, she should be in Malta right now! All I know so far is that her role is “Sarrab”.

I’ve added screencaptures from an older film to the gallery, 2006′s “Molière.” Ludivine played the witty socialite Célimène. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more films!

According to ioncinema.com, Ludivine may have been replaced in François Ozon’s “Potiche” by Karin Viard. If it’s true, that is a definitely a disappointment, but other places on the web list Ludivine in the cast alongside Karin. Shooting doesn’t wrap until the end of January, however, and the film is scheduled for a November 10, 2010 release, so it may be a little while before it’s confirmed either way.

The first production stills and an on-set interview for Ludivine’s upcoming film “Crime d’amour”, formerly known as “Une femme parfaite”, are available at Allocine.fr. Ludivine is in talks to join an English language movie! The film is The Devil’s Double and stars English actor Dominic Cooper in the lead role as Latif Yahia, former body double of Uday Hussein. You can find more information about the production below. Hopefully talks lead to a confirmed casting!

Cooper will play Latif Yahia, “a dead ringer for Saddam Hussein’s sadistic and widely despised son Uday who was forced against his will to stand in for Uday in potentially dangerous situations.”  Through his access, Yahia gained access to Hussein’s inner sanctum and witnessed terrible corruption, violence and nuttiness.

Ludivine Sagnier is also in talks to star in the project which begins shooting in January in scenic Malta.
